Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Ryng’s mobile application (“Application”). Please read these Terms carefully before using the Application.

Acceptance of Terms

By using the Application, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Application.

Use of the Application

You may use the Application only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to use the Application:

  • In any way that violates any applicable federal, state, local or international law or regulation.
  • For the purpose of exploiting, harming or attempting to exploit or harm minors in any way by exposing them to inappropriate content, asking for personally identifiable information, or otherwise.
  • To transmit, or procure the sending of, any advertising or promotional material, including any “junk mail,” “chain letter” or “spam” or any other similar solicitation.
  • To impersonate or attempt to impersonate Ryng, a Ryng employee, another user or any other person or entity.
  • To engage in any other conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone’s use or enjoyment of the Application, or which, as determined by Ryng, may harm Ryng or users of the Application or expose them to liability.

Intellectual Property

The Application and its entire contents, features and functionality (including but not limited to all information, software, text, displays, images, video and audio, and the design, selection and arrangement thereof), are owned by Ryng, its licensors or other providers of such material and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store or transmit any of the material on our Application except as generally and ordinarily permitted through the Application according to these Terms.

User Content

The Application may allow you to upload, submit, store, send or receive content, including but not limited to text, images, audio, and video (“User Content”). You retain ownership of any intellectual property rights that you hold in that content.

By submitting User Content to the Application, you grant Ryng a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform the User Content in connection with the Application and Ryng’s (and its successors’ and affiliates’) business, including without limitation for promoting and redistributing part or all of the Application (and derivative works thereof) in any media formats and through any media channels.

You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to grant the licenses granted in this section and that your User Content does not violate the rights of any third party.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Application immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Ryng and its affiliates, and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents from and against any claims, actions, suits or proceedings, as well as any and all losses, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of the Application, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Ryng or its suppliers, licensors, or partners, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Application; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the Application, including without limitation, any defamatory, offensive, or illegal conduct of other users or third parties; or (c) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

Disclaimer

Your use of the Application is at your sole risk. The Application is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. The Application is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or course of performance.

Ryng, its subsidiaries, affiliates, and its licensors do not warrant that a) the Application will function uninterrupted, secure or available at any particular time or location; b) any errors or defects will be corrected; c) the Application is free of viruses or other harmful components; or d) the results of using the Application will meet your requirements.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Changes to Terms

Ryng reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to change the Terms under which the Application is offered. The most current version of the Terms will supersede all previous versions. Ryng encourages you to periodically review the Terms to stay informed of our updates.
